Abstract
Award-winning solution utilizing wastewater to generate environment-friendly and cost-effective energy for heating and cooling buildings. The THERMOWATT technology channels the wastewater from the main collector through high-performance heat exchangers, and the heat energy recovered from the wastewater is transferred to the water-water heat pump. This helps to achieve energy independence and energy security, as the heat source is provided by the predictably available wastewater. An ideal solution in smart cities for heating and cooling large energy consumer facilities, such as public institutions, hospitals, wastewater plants, schools and office buildings.
10:30 Revolution in thermal energy storage – save 20-50% energy with HeatTank intelligent thermal battery
András Mikó, Sales Manager, HeatVentors
Abstract
Our solution, HeatTank is a revolution in thermal energy storage systems. Our technology can reduce storage volume by 90%, save at least 20-50% energy with a payback time between 3-5 years. The innovation is using special, bio-based phase change materials with tailor engineered phase change temperature, and our patented, large-area heat-exchange tubing. HeatVentors’ technologies are patented, customizable yet scalable, thanks to our flexibly adjustable mechanical designs as well as the optimization and control algorithms.
